Amidst a winter snowscape, a public plaza in downtown Montreal is glimmering like a jewel thanks to a public art installation comprised of kaleidoscopic prisms.

The Fractured and the Feline by Robert Storey, London – UK

Going from one chamber to another, one gets deeper into the artist’s fragmented imagery comprised of models’ faces, glossy magazines and bold strokes of paint. Passing vertical mirror prisms, the visitor stumbles upon video chambers, finally escaping via a narrow mirrored aisle, which leads to the final space. In total, five different settings which completely in tune with the artworks.

De Bijenkorf windows by Studio XAG, Netherlands

Mirror is replaced with graphic prints, elongated triangular prisms become the structure for tipis and wooden elements add layers, transforming these windows into a journey through nomadic lands where product poses as living essentials.

“C42” Citroen showroom by Manuelle Gautrand Architecture, Paris

The new Citroën showroom is at number 42 Champs Elysées; Citroën have owned the site since André Citroën set up shop there in the 1920s. His original showroom was beautiful, the interior was extremely theatrical, and the glass rectangle façade beautifully proportioned, very minimalist and contemporary.

The main idea developed itself centred in the need to extend the exhibition to the whole area of the space. Since the space was big, and the protagonists of the exhibition are small, we were drived to design an exhibition device that could be extended in the whole surface of the walls.
