The glass sphere which acts as luminaire, therefore, seems to rise, supported by a slender stem, in bent sheet metal, which enveloping the sphere, almost protecting it, it partly reflects the light, bringing out the curved shapes of the lamp, through shades and reflections.

AER Acrylic Tableware Collection by DUA

This Vase & Fruit Bowl were designed as part of the AER Acrylic Tableware collection. It is constructed from 4 mm acrylic and bonded together with translucent glue which cures in white light. The collection experiments with the idea of suspending objects in space and were inspired by air bubbles in water.
