Hermès store relocation by Rdai, London – UK

Amidst the current retail frenzy, the house of Hermès has also raised its profile, relocating its boutique in the swanky neighbourhood of Belgravia a few blocks down the road to premises almost double the size. It’s set across two floors of a listed 1950s building, and the interior design by Paris-based architecture practice Rdai is predictably lavish and elegant.

Issey Miyake store relocation by Tokujin Yoshioka, Zurich – Switzerland

Tokujin Yoshioka, the Tokyo-based architect who has created interiors of many Issey Miyake boutiques across the planet, has designed a setting that hinges on an intricate balance between a futuristic aesthetic with clean lines, captured by coloured aluminum panels, and the building’s original architectural details.

Newline office by Interactive Space, London – UK

Interactive Space oversaw the design, building and fitting out of the project, creating large, open-plan desk areas, with various offices and meeting rooms. The contemporary aesthetic matched the company’s image, while the functional working areas were constructed with productivity in mind.

Jac+ Jack store relocation by George Livissianis, Melbourne – Australia

The new premises are also bigger, and co-owners Jacqueline Hunt and Lisa Dempsey seized the opportunity to work with architect and longtime collaborator George Livissianis to raise the bar and come up with a subtly tweaked interior design that even better reflects Jac+ Jack’s brand values than its previous boutiques.
