Johnny Wong and Miho Hirabayashi created an iconic branded retail concept, which blurred handcrafted and computer generated modeling to create a collection of fluid white sculptural forms. This formal style they have coined ‘Liquid Baroque’, as signature pieces for the new retail expansion for Hong Kong, China and Taiwan.
Thoughtspace designed the flagship store at Sydney Airport and have rolled out a number of other stores in other Airport Terminals. Offering a wide range of technology accessories, gadgets and audio equipment, the Tech2go store design is slick and clean with strong graphic details and blue LED lighting accents.
Residing in a Federal-style Georgetown carriage house, the details throughout the space that Hutchison mindfully preserved creates a narrative connection to the history of the area, while updating the overall feel with modern elements. The 6,000 square foot retail space is divided into two floors, with an additional 2,000 square foot floor for storage.
Together with Timberland’s in-house Global Creative Services Group, Dalziel and Pow has developed a new global retail concept that re-imagines the brand experience. The brief was to present the brand in an environment that would ‘inspire and equip’ the customer in a viscerally engaging and re-imagined way.
