Both the form and the idea of a gateway leading into Casa Alitalia are reflected in the concept of a large doorway leading into an italian building, a passage that takes guest from the chaotic airport environment, into a calm, inviting, sophisticated space.
Officinaleonardo pursues, in his works, several themes including the relationship between matter and light, the transparency of spaces, the inclusion of nature in the built, the ecological habitat in his self-sustainability, and psychological well-being of those living and working in the spaces created.
Along the wall to the right, from the entrance side, an iron pipe runs the whole depth of the store reflecting the items of clothing that hang from the back wall; the two split-levels of the mirror walls, located at the back of the store, contain a service boxroom and the stairs to access the stockroom in the loft.
Dedalo is a table that combines innovative design, elegance and functionality. The intersection of the trapezoidal shapes, that sustains the table top, the contrast between finishings and volumes, the essentiality of the lines, give dynamicity and create geometric tricks between solidity of the top and the leg motion that attracts the attention.
