Ralph Lauren womenswear store by Michael Neumann Architecture, Shanghai

Continuing Ralph Lauren’s traditional store aesthetic, the new store features an ornate wrought iron staircase which fully utilizes the store’s generous ceiling heights. Designed exclusively for women, accessories and footwear are displayed on the first floor, while the second floor, with luxurious fitting rooms, houses the brand’s womenswear.

Design Republic outlet store by Neri&Hu, Qingpu – China

The new Design Collective is located in the outskirt of Shanghai in a town called Qingpu. Neri&Hu inherited an existing building and was given the task to completely redesign both the exterior and the interior without demolishing the existing structure.

In Italian, “Matto” is a light-hearted term meaning ‘crazy’ or ‘wild’ and this term embodies the restaurant’s unique personality and sense of fun. Pure Creative’s objective was to design a restaurant in Shanghai where diners could relax, enjoy traditional Italian cuisine and also be wowed and entertained by their interior surroundings.

The Yu Bar is the glamorous new rooftop bar of the newly opened Shanghai Marriott Luwan. Located on the banks of the Lupu River overlooking the Expo 2010 site and the Lupu ridge the bar is located on the 28th and 29th floor and features a large terrace offering guests phenomenal views of the city.

OTTO BOCK Lifestyle Store by Coordination Asia, Shanghai

Tasteful and contemporary, the store combines bright white and vibrant green against classic, grey slate paving to striking effect. A butterfly motif, both digital and in reflective glass, is referenced throughout the space: playful and fun, the creature encapsulates agility, grace and energy – all qualities of the Otto Bock brand.

This winter at Paris’ mega department store Printemps, 11 windows have been filled with holiday displays by Karl Lagerfeld. Titled Christmas Dreams of Far Away, the presentations enact holiday scenes from legendary cities including Moscow, Venice, Paris, Los Angeles, Biarritz, New York, London, Shanghai, Tokyo and the Cap d’Antibes.

In an effort to appeal to discerning shoppers in the Pudong area and to compete with the many new luxury food brands moving in to the Shanghai, Lotus commissioned HEAD to develop a new flagship store transitioning from 100% local brands, toward a larger component of foreign products and services.

This bookstore has the most luxurious setting that can easily transport their pint-sized customers into a world of color, fantasy and imagination.

Apple Store by Bohlin Cywinski Jackson Architects, Shanghai

Here is a design of an Apple store with high-tech glass and steel building with an interior that is very minimal and only as to put an icon on their logo design. Designed by architect Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, who has experience and has worked with Apple stores in New York and in London. The entrance to this store a cube and a glass cylinder, which leads to the local underground beneath a square central business district of Lujiazui in Pudong.
