Based on their request, key point in design is a person who dressed down a luxury bag or watch, like she wears white T-shirt and jeans, carries luxury bag. Based on that key, display racks are casually decorated by denim material.

Materials such as bare steel, mesh, mortar etc… , which indicate ‘ Street ‘ or ‘ Park’ were applied to give a sharp and street-like look to the shop. Graphics on the facade can be replaced for each seasons, so that the brand can appeal to passersby.

Lucien Pellat-Finet Shinsaibashi by Kengo Kuma, Osaka

Influenced by the organic patterns found in plants, Kengo Kuma has created this shop and café in Tokyo for fashion designer Lucien Pellat-Finet. In his design, Kuma uses a honeycomb structure comprised of Lauan-made plywood to envelope the space. This three-dimensional structure ingeniously serves as the retail display system used throughout the shop; with the natural warmth of wood complementing a fashion line notorious for its assemblage of iconic cashmere sweaters.
