The designers chose a minimalist and transparent look exposing entire supply of the shop as well as get a sneak peek at sushi master at work through a glazed mezzanine. The colour scheme is inspired by the colours of traditional sushi rolls, black and white with a stripe of colourful triangles coherent with brand’s visual identity.

Huge Berlin style double-wing doors make a great appearance in the store, simultaneously giving the space a feeling of a classic apartment and separating the shopping area from the fitting rooms. Further, open ceilings and exposed brick walls slurried with a very thin white plaster break through the overall elegance of the store thus appearing very Berlin-like.

At a clothing store in Kofu, Japan, a geometrical ceiling installation forms a unique lattice roof that separates the shopping area and ‘void’ space. Designer Chikara Ohno says since the space is long and narrow with two opposide facades, he wanted to connect the area inbetween.
