Conjuring up a unique floating sensation, SORA’s entrance partition of crisscrossed arched steel rods reminds one of the “blurred” or “misty” look found in ink wash paintings. Looking through, the jet-black materials used in the interior create an ascetically suppressed space.

The Miyake team wanted a new design concept for the 24 Issey Miyake shop in Shibuya’s Parco shopping complex, which includes a store that specially features Miyake’s new Bilbao bag.
