Given the site constrains; the design seeks every opportunity to maximize the store frontage while allowing visibility to penetrate deep into the store from the public space.

The frosted storage Perspex storage elements are internally illuminated with LED’s to gently articulate the floating boxes within the fluid field of curved ribs. With a strict budget, this project was an exercise in realizing complex geometries with limited finances.

Aesop store by March Studio, Singapore
August 17th, 2011Melbourne architect, March Studio’s Rodney Eggleston has recently completed the third Singapore store at Millenia Walk for Australian skincare brand Aesop. In collaboration with Aesop’s founder Dennis Paphitis, the store features a significantly mesmerizing mass of coconut husk strings suspended from the ceiling.
Maison Martin Margiela, Tokyo
May 20th, 2011This first Maison Martin Margiela store opened in Tokyo in 2000. Located in the ebisu area of the city, the former residence incorporates the offices and sales rooms of Kokonoe corp ltd.,
(the joint venture company in charge of the Mason Martin Marginal brand in Japan), as well as a store on the ground floor. In february 2006, the store mores to another location in a former electrical products factory building, still in the ebisu area.
