Dyson Demo store by Wilkinson Eyre & Dyson, London – UK

The products are displayed across two floors linked by a glowing backlit white glass stair. The upper floor is set back to provide a double-height entrance space, while the mezzanine incorporates a glazed balustrade balanced on a sharp chamfered soffit — allowing visual connections from the first floor across to Oxford street and Selfridges.

The space has been divided using cabinets made of lacquered pine plywood. The whole structure utilises both closed rooms, as well as open office space, which was one of the requirements coming from the investor.

Located on one of Bali’s most exclusive shopping streets, the new Denimdenim store by Word of Mouth certainly demands attention. The refurbishment of the existing two storeys structure, with a petite floor plate of only 60sqm, saw the need to manipulate the building facades to create a strong street presence.
