In Selfridges windows, mannequins stand amongst moire rings, which create anoptical illusion as onlook-ers walk by. Product from the collection is highlighted by bespoke-made neon rings, echoing the circular theme of the windows.

To create a luxurious and extravagant feel, StudioXAG layered curved of bespoke-made gold and silver metallic plates across the back of the windows.

Super Light Skidoo fashion display at London Fashion Week by StudioXAG

In the portrait window, a Skidoo floats above a skyline, attached to a mechanised acrylic ‘balloon’. In its neighbouring window, a block-out vinyl reveals cut-outs that allow pedestrians to peek into the space, drawing in crowds from the street.

The products are heroed on clusters of black spheres peppered along an existing wedge platform. In a rich variety of textures, huge matte and glossy black balloons nestle amongst flocked hemispheres topped with glossy acrylic.

Graphic explosions made from powder-coated steel are combined with shards wrapped in baby blue glitter and vibrantly contrasting coloured vinyl. Amongst an eye-catching colour palette of rich hues, at the centre of each explosion POP!

Christian Louboutin Lost in space windows by StudioXAG, Worldwide

Windows featured chrome finish ‘UFO’ pods, surrounded by jewel-tone cabochon lights. Footwear and accessories are displayed atop a red rocket trail, whilst an illuminated shard extends from a heap of glittering moon rock. Galactic star-filled backdrops feature Louboutin’s take on a glamorous astronaut, the new collection floating in zero-gravity nearby.

The windows also feature towering ladders filled with accessories, and show-stopping neon lit stars which engulf the space with light. The scheme is completed with panels coated in gold leaf, accompanied by cut vinyl offering the viewers to “Find Your Star’.

The revolving L reinterprets the Maison’s Art Deco motif, which was first revealed on the engraved metal lighters on the 1930’s. Extruded, extended and scaled up 1000%, the bold graphic is translated into 3D to form a striking and dynamic backdrop to the product.

A play between textures is enhanced with the concrete print continuing from the imagery on to a transparent material, and each window is framed by an asymmetrical colour pop outline.

In the windows; one campaign graphic is scaled, layered and repeated three times, enhancing the centre point perspective of the image. Each layer is edge lit in a cool blue light, creating a striking and hypnotic composition pulling you right in to the centre where the new product is suspended.
