Glenelly restaurant, tasting room and glass museum by Inhouse Brand Architects, Stellenbosch – South Africa

The corner of the bar reveals an engraved map of the farm, indicating where one can find Glenelly’s Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Chardonnay vineyards. A selection of extraordinary hand-blown glass lights hang suspended over the bar.

The owners’ interest in focusing on the experience of wine finds its expression in the casual seating arrangements, and the subtle, natural materials and hues used to build out the space. Defining the space is the forty-foot-long, custom-fabricated, pewter-topped tasting bar, which is set atop a whitewashed pine base.

Seattle Chocolates Factory Tour by MG2, Tukwila – Washington

The armadillo contains a conference room and workspaces for 14 people. L-shaped steel panels slide along the side and top of the structure, alternately opening it up to views of the tasting room and natural light from above or shutting it down for security and privacy.

This Press Club wine bar is located in Four Seasons hotel on Yerba Buena Lane, San Francisco. It is an urban tasting room and shop that has been created by BCV Architects. The bar interior materials are from woods with exposed structural elements. It creates warm atmosphere inside.
