The client wanted us to draw on the energy, colour and craziness of Harajuku. The layering of pattern, pop colours and bold attitude all informed the diverse selection of colours and finishes.

Stepping out from the lift at 720 Bourke Street, visitors and staff will experience a New York arrival and reception area. This includes a sleek reception desk with turned timber legs, cut crystal decorative lighting, a recycled timber herringbone strut ceiling and New York loft mullion detailing to the glazed meeting room partitions.
The humble milk-crate was the main design element which formed the foundations for much of the joinery in the workplace including the reception wall, quiet booths, banquette window seating and light features. We repeated the cube throughout the design with 2D and 3D elements as the cube was a pivotal form to the TNS branding.
