Much of the products are presented as self-service items with more premium pens and gifts displayed under glass. Materials were selected to remain functional and to provide a neutral background to the product whilst clearly linking to the strong brand colours of Black and Yellow.

Beanz Meanz Heinz Selfridges Window by Jones Knowles Ritchie (JKR), London – UK

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous slogan ‘Beanz Meanz Heinz’, Jones Knowles Ritchie were tasked with designing a bespoke window display for Selfridges’ famous London store. Built on the theme ‘House of Dreams’, the window portrays breakfast time through the unmistakeable lens of Heinz.

Oasis windows by Lucky Fox, London – UK

Anglepoise Clerkenwell Showroom with Unibox Displays, London – UK

To ensure each of the graphic panels, which were fixed to a single system channel, aligned correctly, the Unibox design team devised a clever solution that treated the panels like a jigsaw, designing notches that were cut from each panel to join the neighbouring panel.

Missguided store at Bluewater by Dalziel & Pow, Stone – UK

Unique to the Bluewater site is a carnivalesque ‘house of mirrors’ effect in which the digital content reflects on the mirrored ceiling, as if continuing infinitely. The effect is a magical, illusionistic fairground feel that Missguided’s customers will be excited to explore.

The theme of this year’s prestigious annual floral art show is “Floral Safari”, and Prop studios were invited to create a floral installation which tied in with the Safari theme and showcased Kiehl’s newly released Midnight Recovery Botanical Cleansing Oil, as well celebrating the brands heritage, community spirit, sustainability and use of natural ingredients.

The Dulwich Pavilion by IF_DO, London – UK

The Dulwich Pavilion has been designed as a temporary public structure, which engages with the adjacent buildings, landscape and visitors alike. Conceptually it responds to the solidity and monolithic nature of Sir John Soane’s Gallery building, and the porous, ever-changing nature of the landscape.

The design reflects this ethos as soon as you step into the space, with a living wall and wooden and warm materials to make the space feel homely and welcoming. The breakout area has a large island in the tea point, perfect for team meals and general socialising.

The White Tower Gift Shop by Kinnersley Kent Design, London – UK

The White Tower contains several floors of weaponry and armour and visitors exit via the 900 sq ft gift shop, which sells an incredible 370,000 pieces of merchandise per annum. The brief for the redesign had four key aims: first, to create an exciting and engaging retail experience; secondly, to improve customer flow and circulation; thirdly, to take a sympathetic approach to enhance the natural theatre and character of the building; and fourth and finally to facilitate product merchandising, using individual or grouped product narratives.

George Spencer Designs flagship showroom by Boundary Space, London – UK

These industrial elements contrast with the soft furnishings and fabrics, showcasing the latter to great effect. We introduced a curved rail of full-length hanging around the perimeter of the showroom to create a ‘wall’ of fabric display, and to soften the cavernous space, giving a more domestic and cosy feel.

Comptoir Cafe & Wine by B3 Designers, London – UK

Downstairs, the walls are adorned with an exceptional selection of wine and champagnes while diners are able to sit at the antiqued copper communal dining table, which sits centrally in the space. A secluded ‘members room’ tucked around the corner will allow diners the opportunity to host a private celebration in a characteristic lounge with a private library feel.

Patients enter through a prominent entrance and attractive period façade. Within the main reception, decorative pendants and concealed lighting details to the desk create a welcoming environment, while a cove detail at high level draws people downstairs to the lower-ground floor space.
