The idea expressed by a “beer” arteries, which pass through the whole bar and transport drink through its “vessels”. To do this, we used copper pipes which unite the beer towers, extend through walls and transformed into light.

The main goal for our design team was to develop a simple, understandable yet stylish interior to support the main concept of the restaurant. We used lots of tactile materials like wood and concrete. The colour scheme consists of only four colours: copper red, grey, white and black.

Concept of blank sheet is the main idea of the interior. Basically, it could be transformed to everything: picture, page of a great book or became something totally new. Our blank sheet transformed into multifunctional auditorium and design studio office. The heart of the office is the white cubical meeting room – the gateway between two zones.

Kiev restaurant Casa Nori inaugurated in Kiev not so far and will definitely become a new discovery among Ukrainian restaurants and probably not only Ukrainian. It will be operating in the format of Cicchetteria – arisen in Venice of the 19th century gastronomical locations where the protagonists of menu have been various sorts of wine and local types of snacks.

As part of a public project managed by ArtUnitedUs, Okuda has painted an entire train from the existing Kiev metro network. Ten compositions are distributed across five cars, each bearing the spanish creative’s distinct personal style and forming ‘an introspective trip into his art’.

Colored lines with names of the underground stations on the floor, which lead from reception to auditoriums, themed posters, vintage sign “way out”, red box like а underground car in section and other details take us to London Underground atmosphere.

In interior design, we relied on the American style of the 30s. This is reflected in dark colors, leather furniture, decoration materials and zoning. We were able to create the concept of the restaurant though modern architectural trends.

Restoration of old chairs and tables allowed us to save money on new furniture and to give space a vintage look. Several elements remained unchanged, like tiled and hardwood flooring. Wooden ceiling have been covered in paint and we’ve decided to demonstrate the charm of solid wood by cleaning the surface with abrasive blasting.
