Very impressive is the vertical construction of the wall inside the store, specially crafted oak by changing shades covers part of the wall surface. Highlight the facade of the store. Starts with alternately positioned wood and ends with Greek origin rock.

The design is simple to allow the user to participate in each function, as in a box. The ceiling height is 6m high. I kept the idea to not decorate, expressing “Shochu-sankyo”. The trees in boxes surround the entire space, and one can get the feeling of being in the shade of a tree while in the living room.

SABOTEN cutlet restaurant by DOYLE COLLECTION, Fukuoka

Restaurant SABOTEN offers meals centering on Japanese cutlet. It is located in Canal City Shopping Mall in Hakata, one of the major cities in Japan. For the façade, on the upper wall, we utilized Japanese traditional material called “Sudare” (bamboo blinds that control the amount of light) in order to make surface-emitted boxes.
