The carpet was purposely designed using deep, dramatic colors like purple, red and black, creating a feeling of warmth and intimacy. The wallpaper, predominantly red with a black flock, adds a complimentary touch. Storeage coupled the graffiti design with a black and white Memphis-influenced pattern that brings a rock and roll edge.

A juice bar and community space comprise the front space, with a full commissary and production space in the back.

The restaurant was designed as a old fishing boat. A large old map of the world was used as a wallpaper around the open kitchen, large fishnet as a divider between the tables, decorative light fixtures were designed especially for the restaurant.

Among other interesting features, there is a glass floor on the ground floor, which is designed to be walked upon. This transparent floor surface exposes a view into the mysterious ‘underworld’ with ferns and rocks, almost like at the Hobbits in Middle-earth.

SHOE STORES! Bethsabee shoe salon by Creneau International, Belgium

Feminine seduction culled from the ambience and palette of a 17th-century Rembrandt painting is at the heart of the shoe shop Bethsabee. The painting’s frame became a subtle interior feature used in the decoration of the ultra-long counter and walls.

Chicken Cottage fast food restaurant by Retail Mark Design, Oldham

The store is one of the largest in the area with a double fronted design and spreads across two floors. Since the redesign, the store has seen an increase in traffic, increase in occupancy time and delivery orders. Key elements used include, DAN design light shades, laminated digital print wallpaper, minimalistic fixed seating design, and LED lighting.
