The new space provides an extraordinary blueprint for a showroom, its 20-foot ceiling height creates a cube-like dynamic with a 3D feel. Natural light flows into the showroom through a vast expanse of glass that forms an entire wall and offers panoramic views of the Chicago River.

Parisian-styled wall paneling, painted white, and the arched, steel-framed French doors were the main French influences. To create a modern twist, in the main event space, the designers have constructed a white marble center island countertop and have used cement blocks to link the display cabinets with the dressing room area.

The exterior wall shows the exquisiteness of materials. Marble going with thin frame glass looks very modern, and baking finish boards are put together like a checkerboard, which is clean and neat. The brand ‘SAVOUR’ is suspended on the wall, highlighted by the backlight.

Marisqueria Norte Sur Restaurant by In Out Studio, Madrid – Spain

Located on Calle Doctor Castelo 21 is the second restaurant that the studio designs for the well-known chain of Marisqueria Norte Sur. The initial approach of the reform was to design a small and sophisticated space with two spaces, bar area and restaurant, to transport the customer inside a unique cabin.

La Perla store by Baciocchi Associati, Milan – Italy

Pure white marble floors illuminate the space, softened by sapphire-blue carpets with a metallic herringbone trim. The powder-blue wall panels are accented by golden geometrical mesh, inspired by the weave of tulle – the beloved fabric of lingerie – in emphasis of the La Perla style.

inSports Beijing by Powerhouse Company, Beijing – China

This high-end multifunctional venue facilitates activities like virtual skiing, virtual sports and endurance classes, while placing them in a social setting. Projections on floor and walls create a wide array of simulated environments. During the night the area is turned into a dance club. inSports follows a new trend in Chinese retail where live action and participation becomes an integral part of the retail experience.

Situated in the heart of town smack on Dam square, the ground floor obviously is its main showcase. Infused with slabs of white marble, it’s here where a select number of luxury brands have been granted a shop-in-shop, and not surprisingly, Hermès made the cut.
