The Body Shop Masks windows by studio XAG, London – UK

Charcoal, acai berries, honey, ginseng and roses seemingly burst from the jars in scaled-up graphics printed on foamex. In the largest window each of the five products is presented on a smoked acrylic plinth mirroring the shape of the jars themselves.

Windows featured chrome finish ‘UFO’ pods, surrounded by jewel-tone cabochon lights. Footwear and accessories are displayed atop a red rocket trail, whilst an illuminated shard extends from a heap of glittering moon rock. Galactic star-filled backdrops feature Louboutin’s take on a glamorous astronaut, the new collection floating in zero-gravity nearby.

The spotligth in the window was a tree with lights and paper flowers with half inch hanging white cloth tapes with small cristal clear snowflakes at the end. Each tree was made of many pieces of a death tree branches chopped by local Fire Deparment one night after a huge storm that destroyed the woods in a park in our city.

The current showcase at Maison Hermès Ginza, entitle urban jungle, presents a wide range of these cunningly realistic sculptures. All monkeys, a large terracotta orang utan sits on a trunk and gazes onto the bustling cityscape. In the large window, a group of monkeys are huddled cozily together, and seem less deterred by what’s going on around them.
