Wanting to emphasise the origins, we designed a monogram from the initials of the greek words Moschato and Lemnos, the two letters that also constitute the code for the determination of the PDO of the product.

We create a system which graphically represents the characteristics of each wine. Inspired by the geometric motifs of Turdetan art, we make use of opposing concepts to create balance. The aging of wines (its absence, in young or semi-crianza wines aging in barrels) is depicted in the background colour on the bottles.

We dreamt about this mythical bird’s features and portrayed them in a special design that makes it come to life, reminding us of its watchful personality and conveying quality and reliability. Tyto alba are the wines born from the vineyards protected by the Barn Owl, where biodiversity is key.

So, instead of names, the Wine & Shine team chose to use a clear bold code of numbers and colours. Thus was born this scalable wine range, where choosing the wine is almost a game.

The Markogianni winery is located in Skilountia of ancient Olympia, in Peloponnese. As the project referred to the creation of labels for four products of the winery (white, rose and red wine and aged ‘tsipouro’), our goal was to create a tetralogy with a common visual identity, a clear vision and strong differentiation from the competition.
