The store has been constructed and built with local people and local designers for the lighting and wooden furniture. South African craftsmanship as portrayed in the wood cladding telling the Starbucks story of her Siren, her hairs painted by South African artist Kurt Pio.

Different, but always with the Loreak Mendian touch: that´s how we could describe the brand´s concept stores, in which the previous purpose of any chosen space, or its location, help define its aesthetics. In Bayonne the walls remain bare, cracked and imperfect; this combines nicely with the symmetry of the wooden furniture and the hydraulic tiles typical of early-20th Century buildings.

This Press Club wine bar is located in Four Seasons hotel on Yerba Buena Lane, San Francisco. It is an urban tasting room and shop that has been created by BCV Architects. The bar interior materials are from woods with exposed structural elements. It creates warm atmosphere inside.

Newton Coffee Table

The Newton Coffee Table, by Swedish designers Dan Sunaga and Staffan Holm, was awarded The Nordic Design Prize during the 2009 Stockholm Furniture Fair. Bended laminated wood is one of the basic materials used in the furniture industry. The Nordic Design prize for wooden furniture made by compressure molding was founded in 1983 with the aim of increasing the interest for this technique. The Newton Coffee Table is being produced by Karl Andersson & Söner.
