Stefany’s stand at DOMOTEX 2017 by YERce Architecture, Hannover – Germany

Behind this surface, isolated from the crowd of the fair where the visitors could meet up with each other, the products and the hosting company; an area that would accommodate a cafe in the middle was designed. The location of carpet exhibition units was planned slightly inwards from the perimeter.

When choosing materials, it is preferred to have neutral and non-textured vertical surfaces to the front of which the products were placed and textured and live inclined surfaces on the top elevation to provide a balance by adding warmth to the subject.

While the shell is designed to evoke sense of security of the house, the products to be exhibited are integrated to the shell of the stand benefiting from the advantage of the stand having an island type area.

The arched cube which was located in the centre of the stand and referred to the well-established and sophisticated aspects of the brand, both integrated with and a bit isolated and separated from its environment symbolized the “heart of business” as well.

Empera & Kaplan Kardeşler Carpet Stands at DOMOTEX 2016 by YERce Architecture, Hannover – Germany

The stands were designed with an entrance section, the section where carpets were exhibited and an accompanying cafe. The entrance section, while reflecting the prestige of the brands, isolated the carpet exhibiting section from the chaos of the fair significantly.

A wooden path starting from outdoors and continuing indoors. We devised an engrossing and constant surface that sincerely welcomes the customer as from outside through inside of the store. We named this indoor path as “podium”. Our purpose was to make customer feel special there.
