Not only Olympia is being the center of attention in London these days – also the new MINI pop-up store in one of Europe’s largest shopping malls, London’s Westfield Startford City, is still attracting much attention since its opening in spring 2012.

Most recently in July 2012 the MINI Pop-Up Store Project was awarded the renowned red dot design award 2012 in the category “Event Design“. Together with the client MINI, the Berlin creative agency for retail communication, Studio 38, can also feel proud that their work came out on top in a field of 6,823 entries from 43 countries. The red dot jury, made up of international design experts, was convinced by Berlin-based company’s pioneering and smart designs.

Studio 38 were responsible for the overall concept and implementation of the MINI pop-up store, from the architecture to the visual merchandising and lighting to the finer details such as the wall graphics and olfactory and sound design.
