Spazio Design showroom by Zero Architetti, Catania

Spazio Design showroom accommodates a variety of dedicated areas for different displays: from pieces at bespoke design furniture to tiles, wall coverings, home accessories. Covering over 400 sqm of area, the showroom has been organised into two main thematic wings.

The exhibition space is roughly homogeneous, only the colourful carpet is a different element of the hall. The architects tried to strengthen the white painted brick wall with white cubes on the wall, and then they glued up the colourful photos on the cubes.

The furnitures’ tapestry have vibrant color accent to balance the black and white contiguous space character, this character also signals the function changes in space. With dark colored curtains the restaurant is divided into a larger or smaller spaces, depending on the time of day and modes of operation.

Despite the consistent use of color and geometry in the interiors of Kronverk Cinema, each zone is characterized with a distinct and clearly codified aesthetics. The entrance to the cinema, modern and geometric, leads to the lobby area – a very characteristic tunnel, divided into spatial zones with seat modules.
