The interior design concept of the burger restaurant BOB & MARY in the “Medien-Hafen Düsseldorf ” was supported by the principle of “not another burger store”. The city of Düsseldorf pop`s up more and more burger shops in the same style. The visual appearance (and of course taste) should be different than that of the competitors. The feminine design elements can only produce their effect by the restraint of the masculine elements. Both of them form a symbiosis in their tension of opposites.
