Hello Flamingo have been part of a truly exciting project for the lovely Dawn O’Porter, and the launch of her first ever POP up shop for her BOB clothing range. The range is a collection of vintage clothes and Dawns own line of designs, all fun, quirky and truly vintage.  Working with Dawn from the early stages of agreeing the space at Monmouth St, Seven Dials in London, we have worked through lots of ideas for the store, look and feel and the window displays, visual merchandising and prop manufacture. Taking inspiration from Dawns clothing range, the windows took shape based on ‘The Jane – dog walking Skirting’ and ‘The Jane – Quotes Skirt’.

The window display with the dog walking skirt came to life with replica prints on acrylic of the dogs on the skirt, including Potato and Li Lu (Dawns cat and dog). The second window display was focused on Dawns vintage collection, with the display using the prints from the ‘Quote Skirt’ and with a twist, making Paper aeroplanes adding reference to Dawns ‘Paper Aeroplanes novel.

Testimonial from Dawn O’Porter:
“I was faced with a large space and a very short period of time to dress it, I needed help on the design, and quickly. Paula from Hello Flamingo swooped in and created a vibe that was perfect. Taking inspiration from the clothes from my collection they put dogs in the window and paper aeroplanes soaring from the ceilings. No time restraints caused them stress and they worked well within my budget. The shop looked perfect, and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. I couldn’t recommend these guys more.’
