A new pharmacy store arrived to a small city near Valencia, so the client asked d’Estudio to make a huge impact on the population by reforming an old building into the landmark of the neighbourhood.

The façade, made by Alucobond panels, allows a big white box to fly over the ground floor, acting as a huge signage area. That first floor is occupied by private areas such as the office of the pharmacist, the stock medicines area and the laboratory. All of them receive sun light from the South back façade, while they set free the whole ground floor for public spaces: the store, a small conference room and bathrooms.

Inside the pharmacy, ceiling lights guide the client to the counters while sales areas are arranged on the back wall and around a bespoke wooden piece that holds a dry tree above the client. This piece reminds the healthy brand image the pharmacy must have, while the rest of the pieces (counters made by white Corian bent surfaces, marble flooring and glass shelving…) sets the clean and modern message the client wants to give to all his clients.
