They say “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” and never have those words rang truer than for Aston Martin. The carmaker only released the Vanquish in 2012, and the stunning drop-top Volante version just a year later. Now it’s back with the impossibly beautiful Vanquish Volante S — and we’re pleased to report that the few tweaks and refinements have the car looking better than ever.
Along with the aerodynamic-enhancing carbon fiber splitter and diffuser, Aston has upgraded the monstrous 6.0-liter V12 engine to kick out a whopping 580bhp. An improved intake manifold design is also said to improve throttle response.
Inside, you’ll find “Satin Chopped Carbon Fiber” panels and a “Sumptuous Bridge of Weir Caithness leather” — your guess is as good as ours as to what they mean, all we know is that they sound good. Check out the car above, then head over to the Aston Martin website to find your nearest dealer. Prices start at $312,950. In other news, here are this month’s most awesome new tech and gadgets.
