Perkins+Will designed the offices of brand agency Friends & Neighbors, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Friends & Neighbors is a brand agency committed to treating its clients not like customers but like their friends and neighbors. Based on this philosophy, Perkins+Will set out to design a functional work environment that incorporated homey and comfortable elements, with an open door policy for their clients and friends to come into their space.

Located in the Warehouse District of downtown Minneapolis, the concrete floors and ceilings are juxtaposed with warm wooden elements and large windows showcasing the hustle of the city. The street-level floor houses two conference rooms with reclaimed wood tables, an informal gathering/collaboration area, and kitchen where clients will come to meet with the Friends & Neighbor’s team. Down the central and exposed staircase, is the open employee work area with custom built desks and enclosed quiet rooms. The lower level has clerestory windows to bring in natural light and continued views of the city.
