Luxury behemoth Louis Vuitton has returned to de Bijenkorf department store in Amsterdam with a new pop-up store, situated only a few metres away from its permanent shop-in-shop on the ground floor. Unapologetically oozing the hot and sunny days in exotic holiday destinations that lie ahead, the pop-up store comprises of a striking box of tinted glass with its contours of neon light and a matching Monogram flower on one side. Inside, playful faux palm treed take centre stage, embedded in a tiered display, and additional clothing racks and shelving laden with merchandise lining the walls. A grid of metal beams that seemingly hovers overhead helps to secure the glass walls, but also sees light spots attached which highlight sections of the ephemeral space. The Louis Vuitton pop-up store carries a selection of items from the urban yet sophisticated women’s Spring in the City S/S 2022 Collection which is a blend of reworked staple pieces in neutral colours and in bright, bold Monogram prints. Emblematic bags feature a dreamy rainbow degrade and raffia finishing complement the wardrobe along with matching women’s accessories and shoes.
