For over 10 years, Victoria Distillers has produced some of Canada’s finest handmade spirits. Cutler Architecture & Design developed an eye-catching design for the distiller in YYJ airport, which occupies just over 340 square feet. This one-of-a-kind tasting kiosk offers handcrafted spirits that are mixed & bottled on site, as well as a selection of retail items & bottles to take home.
Chunky, black-framed glazing panels with sliding doors allow a clear view inside the shop, which features a long service bar finished in bold black quartz with a brushed gold inlay. Layered lighting creates a soft glow that highlights the custom suspended shelving. The back wall is finished in a unique plaster resin embossed with the distiller’s logo.
