Since re-vamping the branding and some marketing materials, Finger Lakes Distilling recently asked us to help design the packaging for a limited release offering. This unique product is a 10 year old aged rum. The team wanted to be able to release this product in the summer busy season. This rum was going to be a very small batch but of an extremely high quality. We wanted the packaging to reflect this.
We started with a few concepts. We explored staying close to the existing Mckenzie architecture but also branched further out into the nautical and tropical history of rum.
