Almost a decade after first opening on the lower level of 8500 Sunset Boulevard in the West Hollywood area, KITH has returned with a big splash, now also occupying the ground floor of the former premises of the iconic Fred Segal store. Mind you, this is not only the retailer’s third store in Los Angeles, but also its biggest to date. The interior design, a collaborative effort of KITH founder Ronnie Fieg and New York City-based practice and longtime collaborator Porto Architecture, sees a series of welcoming, modern settings with Venetian plaster walls, Calacatta Vagli stone thresholds, all paired with polished concrete floors layered with rugs, and overhead, wood millwork. Accents of Emerald Quartzite and Rosa Aurora elevate the interior, alongside the signature footwear gallery that seamlessly blends the space. The retail space is also home to the new apothecary section, and the VIP Studio, equipped with a sophisticated McIntosh high-fidelity audio installation. And that’s not all. As power shopping is a taxing activity, the KITH store comes to the rescue with Ronnie’s Pronto, an on-site, laid-back eatery with an outdoor terrace, serving breakfast and lunch. Situated right next door sits KITH Treats, offering the full regular menu. The renewed KITH store stocks the full range of men’s and women’s collections and kids items. © superfuture
