The Louis Vuitton shop-in-shop has relocated within the multi-storey Daimaru department store in Kyoto, and now occupies a sizeable ground floor unit, rubbing shoulders with the boutiques of AMI, Valextra and Comme des Garçons Pocket. Designed in-house, the retail space comes with a distinctive backlit façade adorned with the iconic Damier pattern. Inside, the retail space features various elegant yet contemporary settings with homey nooks brimming with alluring merchandise. The Louis Vuitton store interior boasts a light and bright backdrop, also due to ample soft lighting, and offers a selection of the latest women’s and men’s collections, including leather goods, accessories, ready-to-wear, shoes, fine jewellery, fragrances, and travel bags. The women’s section features bright and feminine tones, while the men’s section boasts slightly darker, masculine colour palettes. Both sections come with comfy seating configurations where to sit back in between power shopping sprees. © superfuture
