Paris’ leafy avenue Montaigne is one of the city’s most prestigious addresses, and it’s lined by boutiques of the planet’s top luxury brands. Chanel already operates a shoe and jewellery boutique across the street, but recently opened an additional boutique that stocks the brand’s entire collection.
Measuring a spacious 600 sqm. spread over two floors, it’s designed by new york-based architect Peter Marino. Marino took cues from Coco Chanel’s lavish apartments, resulting in a store interior with a sky-high luxe factor. Opulent materials such as gold leaf or rock crystal are complemented by the artworks of no less than 12 contemporary artists strewn across the store.
