A New Beginning for Freeths LLP Leeds
Freeths LLP, a leading legal firm, found its Leeds office bursting at the seams. To support their growing team and dynamic workstyle, they secured a new location already outfitted with a basic design. Yet, they sought a space that would truly embody their brand and culture. Leveraging the strong rapport built during the Sheffield office project, the design team embarked on this exciting new challenge.

Solution
Crafting a Professional Agile Haven
DENTON, led by the design team, took on the task of transforming the existing floorplate into a space that seamlessly combined functionality with brand identity. Sustainability was key; the team aimed to retain as much of the current layout as possible while introducing new elements to enhance functionality. This included the creation of focus rooms, agile breakout areas, and dedicated client zones.

Workshops played a crucial role, involving Freeths’ team members to ensure their needs and preferences were fully integrated. The final design featured a sleek, neutral palette with vibrant accents to reflect Freeths’ brand identity vividly.

Key Features
A Vibrant, Flexible Workspace
The Heartbeat: Townhall Space
The versatile town hall area, located next to the client zone, is the centrepiece of the new office. Designed to host training sessions, events, and social gatherings, this space is equipped with a media screen, bleacher seating, and cosy booths. It also doubles as an extension of the kitchen, fostering a sense of community among staff.

Privacy and Elegance: Meeting Rooms
Meeting rooms were upgraded with reeded manifestations and Crittall banding to ensure privacy while maintaining a sophisticated look. These elements create a perfect environment for confidential discussions and client meetings.

Local Charm: Art and Materials
To create a refined yet local feel, the design team incorporated natural woods and other high-quality materials. Collaborating with a Leeds University art student, the team infused the space with bespoke artwork, adding a unique, personal touch that resonated with the local community.

Personal Touches: Sentimental Design Elements
One of the subtle yet impactful design touches was the incorporation of a suggestion box designed to look like a postal box. This feature held sentimental value to the Leeds team, adding a layer of personal connection and history to the new office space.
