Retail design consultancy Sheridan&Co has created window displays to launch a new fragrance collection for L’OCCITANE en Provence in its New York boutiques. La Collection de Grasse, developed by L’OCCITANE’s private perfumer Karine Dubreil, comprises four unique fragrances uniting precious and unexpected ingredients from around the world. There are four products for each fragrance. Sheridan&Co has taken inspiration from the beautiful watercolour illustrations on the Grasse packaging to create the merchandising and the window displays. The retail designers brought the watercolour theme to life by created unusual three dimensional sculptures from the illustration.
Display podiums of differing sizes feature the watercolour motif. Window graphics of the four fragrances and watercolour create a layered effect. Inside the stores, a large watercolour canvas created by Sheridan&Co ties the concept together. The La Collection de Grasse displays were on view at L’OCCITANE’s 170 Fifth Avenue and 180 East 86th Street stores. Sheridan&Co has collaborated with L’OCCITANE on three previous campaigns over the last six months. As part of a branding plan to establish continuity with their promotions, L’OCCITANE will continue its partnership with Sheridan&Co throughout 2013. Kevin Lindberg, head of design US, Sheridan&Co said: “The richly layered watercolors used in the window display and merchandising reflect the complex and layered ingredients of the fragrances.”
