The Rosa Jewellery designed by Paolo Strobino director of Puntidifuga, is a single room shop of approx. 25sqm located in the heart of the old town of Mondovì (Italy). The layout was designed to maximize the space and the custom-made glass displays are hung to the wall as cantilevers on one side, while the small showcases for watches are partially recessed on the other side.

The cozy atmosphere is given by the contrast between the brown resin of the internal partitions covered by a flat and thick glossy layer with gold intrusions and the bright warm gray-beige of the scratched resin on the side walls.

Sophisticated details such as the flower printed and antiqued leather of the armchair, the folded metal sheet of the small showcases, the bronzed brass finishes give a luxurious touch to this small shop.

The external façade is a brilliant restyling of the old design survived from the past. The window glass have been covered by scratched resin panels in dark grey to reduce and focus the display area. All the original decorations and gold mouldings have been merged together with the dark colour of the blind parts to emphasize the impact of the whole façade.

Designer: Paolo Strobino director of Puntidifuga Architecture & Retail design – Milan Italy
