The adventure called Napapijri, a variation of the Finnish word for the Arctic Circle, started in 1987 in the shadow of the Monte Bianco, where an Italian manufacturer of travel bags, combining innovative materials with close attention to style, introduced a new sensibility to outdoor apparel.
In May 2004, VF Corporation acquired Napapijri and the brand with the Norwegian flag as its logo was ready to do what it was born to do – cross borders and reach faraway horizons.
Every journey is a voyage of discovery and, when you are lucky, you discover a journey where there wasn’t one before. This is the myth from which we draw our inspiration, of an explorer who abandons the map to chart an entirely new route.
