RDA Architects is seeking an architect or architectural assistant to join its team in London.

RDA is an award winning established chartered practice based in the east Dulwich/Peckham area. We have an immediate requirement for an architect/architect assistant to join our small, friendly team and to help work on our expanding portfolio of high end and environmentally conscious sustainable projects.

Our practice is currently 12 people strong and we have a diverse team with varying levels of experience. We work closely together as a small team across all stages of a project. Given the tight knit nature of the studio, the ability to fit in on a personal level as well as a professional level is equally desirable.

You will be working under an associate on multiple private high-end residential jobs. We require someone with good design skills. ArchiCAD knowledge and sketching is essential. Job running experience is advantageous.

The ideal candidate will preferably have experience of working on domestic projects, with a good understanding of UK regulations, Passivhaus (PHPP) and general sustainable design principals. A working knowledge of construction detailing and NBS specifications. Excellent design skills and attention to detail are all highly desirable, as well as being able and keen to take on a high level of individual responsibility. Excellent presentation and communication skills would be required and expected.
