The interior space is an overall “L” shape space. Coffee, craft beer and bakery zones take places separately in the three corners of the “L”. Coffee and craft beer zone have white ceilings and floors and the bakery zone is a space with black covered all surfaces. The black and white spaces is divided by the curvy ceiling edge and steel wire.

ALL SH store by Linehouse, Shanghai – China

Responding to the urban context of the store, Linehouse realizes a curved stainless steel installation which operates as a retail system on the interior, as well as a dynamic façade treatment. Perforated stainless steel panels with a graphical treatment of varying punctures and patterns were inserted, shifting between the inside and outside.

The floor is made of two-colored poured concrete (copper-colored and beige), highlighting the different areas of the store. The presence of logos inside the store has been minimized in favor of discrete reminders within the architecture and the furniture design themselves.

Occupying 70 sqm. [754 sq.ft.] set across the first and second floors of a modern midrise building, the setting concocted by creative director Jonny Johansson includes stainless steel cubes, clothing racks in a golden hue, and mirror displays, all tied in by wall-to-wall fluffy blue carpeting.

Made from birch plywood, stainless steel, and concrete, the installation generates ever-changing perspectives depending on the time of day, weather and climatic conditions. Sited on the edge of a rocky cliff and overlooking the sea and nearby city, “dynamics in impermanence” is also an exploration into how photography can break down the authentic artistic experience.
