At the far end of the store, a wine cellar-inspired section presents Diesel’s coveted denim range. The design is eclectic, to say the least, pairing oriental rugs with polished concrete flooring and a ceiling covered in a contrasting light timber.

While the store is full of details unique to its own, including the denim section found in a room with beautiful iron frames, and the original fireplace that accents the retail space with a classical flair, the flavor of the design is still undoubtedly UNIQLO. The resulting space exhibits the brand’s progressing originality and its power.

HYUNDAI card travel library by Wonderwall, Seoul – Korea

The project is a facility dedicated to the members of the HYUNDAI CARD, which opened in Seoul, South Korea. It is a “Travel Library” and a café that have been designed with a theme of travel. The concept of the design is a “Stock of Curiosity.”

The design evokes the feeling of a clubhouse or salon that can serve as a platform for gathering and sharing a variety of information and activities. Inside the three story building are a café, a garage that can be utilized as a gallery, a lounge, and a clubroom.

The usage of 2-D design is an important element in both spaces. An ordinary Ice Cream parlor that may exist in the West coast in the U.S. is envisioned for ICE CREAM™, and the theme for BBC is outer space, which is also the concept for the brand.

100% Chocolate Cafe. – Sky Tree Solamachi by Wonderwall, Tokyo

The café features an open kitchen where visitors can watch the process of sweets being made through a display of glazed boxes containing ingredients of 56 different types of chocolate, creating a tempting atmosphere of a “chocolate kitchen” similar to the first 100%ChocolateCafe. in Kyobashi.

Yoyogi Village – Code Kurkku restaurant by Wonderwall, Tokyo

Wonderwall was asked to work on the design direction for this vast premise and interior design for the restaurant, Code Kurkku, which is situated minutes away from the JR Yoyogi station. This project was lead by music producer Takeshi Kobayashi who invited Shinichi Osawa to join as co-producer in “kurkku”.
