Kapipane panels begin as large blocks composed of thin, extruded acrylic or polycarbonate tubes welded side by side, in parallel. Panels cut from these blocks and inserted between two panes of glass diffuse light and provide thermal insulation. Kapipane’s cellular structure efficiently channels light into a building. Benefits are uniform illumination, a greater penetration of light, enhanced comfort and energy savings. Applications include construction, museum exhibits, set design and entertainment. The product withstands temperatures up to 120°C. Panels are tinted or colourless.Tube diameters: 1.5 and 3.5 mm.Thickness: 20 to 200 mm. Panel dimensions: 100 x 140 cm.
