ACNE store by Jonny Johansson & Andreas Fornell, Paris – France

October 15th, 2013 by retail design blog

Today ACNE launches another store in Paris, this time at a location smack on the banks of the seine river in the St.-Germain neighbourhood. The store interior is another collab by the brand’s creative director Jonny Johansson and architect Andreas Fornell, and it’s more or less a continuation of the aesthetic that was introduced last summer at acne’s second store in London.

The setting features walls clad in mesh steel and polished steel panels, a linear mosaic of inlaid carpet flooring and a rigid framework of ceiling light fixtures. The store is sparsely furnished with glass and metal cabinets and sleek wall-mounted clothing racks as most of the storage is cleverly hidden behind sliding doors. The new ACNE store carries the brand’s full range of men’s and women’s apparel, accessories and shoes.
