The lamps are produced entirely in ceramic, both available in white or black glazing, silver or gold metallic.

The concept and the products are based on an amazing inspirational trip to Japan that unfortunately was delayed for six months after the tragic accident in Fukushima. Would an actual meltdown occur and what would the impact be? The disaster is reflected in the lamps where the process already begun and the bulb are about to melt through the last defence of the glass.

Sheet metal have the same characteristics as paper when it comes to folding. After a lot of experimenting with paper and watching many origami instruction films I managed to understand the technique and construct a pattern of my own. A lampshade that reflects the light downwards with a light coloured by the golden brass.

Abyss is a table lamp composed by a modular structure of injection moulded opal polycarbonate illuminated by a high voltage LED strip. This vertebrate structure allows infinite combinations of self-­standing articulated forms that seem to freely float in space. The subliminal perception of this light body evokes atmospheres of deep ocean ambience in which luminous organisms sinuously and beamingly float into the darkness.

Spain-based french designer Sébastien Cordoleani has developed ‘Roll Lamp’, a collection of pendant lights made from a single strand of cork. To create the lamps, a thin and long pre-glued section of cork is rolled into different forms around the base of the light – a process which has no material wasted during production since no mould is needed.
