Chronicle is a new menswear shoe brand which espouses a modern, sophisticated luxury with an edge. The brief was to create a store that would appeal to young professional business men living a continental northern European lifestyle who aspire to design and art, leisure and travel.

WINE STORES! Artisan Cellars by Asylum, Singapore

A cellar that’s as much a conversation piece as the wine it stores – 400 bottles of luxury cuvee wines are contained in a 3m x 6m cement block, extruded from the shop into the public space. The focus: the dramatic angular tunnel and its top-rate gems.

Kurt Geiger flagship store by AB Associates & Found Associates, London

Kurt Geiger opened their flagship store in Covent Garden, London in 2010 and ab associates successfully project managed this complex interior fit-out which included major structural adjustments to more openly connect the ground floor and basement spaces.

WINE! Scala Vinoteca by Kokkinou + Kourkoulas, Athens

Scala Vinoteca is a small restaurant, 100 sq. m., situated on a pedestrian stepped street as part of a residential neighborhood in the centre of Athens. The exact site is part of a steep undulating landscape located adjacent to one of the few green hills of the city, Lycabetus hill, giving it characteristics of a less urban area.

The new store “Ottica Service” in Sarzana is in the historic center of Sarzana, the store is located in an historic building of 1700. The new store has a net area of 96 mq on one level, with part of the ceilings vaulted.

In just 20-sq-m, a salon in Belgrade, Serbia, makes a big statement. The rental property could not have permanent changes made to its design, so the team at a2arhitektura treated the entire interior space with a black tone. This not only hid unsightly dropped ceiling and plaster-covered beams, but made the space seem bigger.

Carhartt Work In Progress store, London

London’s Shoreditch area just got a little cooler with the opening of the Carhartt – Work In Progress store earlier this week. It’s the brand’s fourth store in Britain, and this one is located in a historic listed building that was previously occupied by a barber and confectioner.

The Spanish company came to A+D with plans to open a chain of stores in Eastern Europe. Stores were carrying around 100 pairs of shoes completed with bags. All set of shoes and a bag have its own style and should be exposed in the way that allows comfort of watching, touching and trying without creating a mass or overloaded effect.

Catalina Fernandez is a high end pastry boutique established in San Pedro, Mexico. The concept in which the store’s interiors were based is the brand’s origin. It started in 1988 as a home based bakery and ended up as a successful pastry shop.
