The walls are painted a pale dove grey and the floors are covered in large neutral-toned tiles, creating a backdrop for an ever-changing decoration of tiles as the stock changes. The serving counter positioned under an arch in the centre of the space is clad in the same neutral tiles so as not to distract from the products.

This unique “Blonde Chic Feel” lighting showroom was created to showcase its Italian lighting products (which are mainly white in colour). By creating an interior space that is darker in colour, the products would stand out from its environment. The use of darker timbers, colours and bronze mirrors helps create a feeling of warmth and sophistication to the interior space of the showroom.

Traditional black-and-white Victorian-style tiling contrasts with the flamboyant decoration, and a new floral print, used for the papered feature wall and on the bespoke tiles to the back of the florist’s counter top, adds to the natural exuberance.

Simple bench style characteristics were incorporated, with features including a mix of traditional timber on a metal framework for formal and casual china providing a contemporary take on a Welsh dresser style while a stylish pantry idea was chosen to house china, mugs and plates stacked high behind slim, metal framed doors.
