Hermès flagship store by RDAI, Geneva

Last November a new Hermès flagship store opened in Geneva, Switzerland. The seven-storey building, built by Marc-Joseph Saugey in 1946, rises on Guisan General’s bank on the lakeside at the corner of Rhone and Robert Céard street.

Illustriously called Louis Vuitton Étoile Maison, the new store measures a rather grand 1,200 sqm. and is housed in a three-storey landmark building that previously accommodated the historical Spazio Étoile, the city’s very first movie theatre.

Burberry has announced the opening of its first store in Sweden, on Biblioteksgatan 6 in Stockholm. The 200 square metre store, situated over three floors, was designed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey and features British materials and themes. It is set in a historic building from 1900.

The new space houses the Prada collections of ready-to-wear, bags, accessories, and footwear for both women and men, as well as certain limited-edition products created especially for the store opening. These include the patent leather ‘Yo-Yo Bag’ in an exclusive black and blush colour-way.
