The aesthetic of the new headquarters is a balance of a clean modern look and the design prioritizes access for all. To maximize natural light and views, the designers arranged custom sit-to-stand desks around the perimeter, and conference rooms in lieu of traditional corner offices.

Bringing food truck culture inside, food areas are pushed out and pulled in so that employees can weave in and out of the space and discover the variety of cultural cuisines. Picnic tables, an ice cream cart, concrete blocks and string lights create an ambiance of the outside brought in.

Based on a Mediterranean feelings of holidays, which is swimming, the Lobby was conceptualized to mimic a swimming pool, in which visitors would be submerged under water. To create this illusion, a deep blue elevated pipe was designed to be hanging overheads, looping around the lobby defining different mini-areas within the lobby area.

Colour was used in carefully selected proportions to add energy and excitement to key collaboration areas without overwhelming the space. This extends to the client facing boardroom where one wall has been covered in tessellated blocks in shades of the corporate blue, arranged to resemble the pixels of a front-end software environment.

The architectural concept was born of an abstract deconstruction of the logo of the company, which was recently remodelled due to the current innovative will of the brand. The analysis of the logo emphasized both Cartesian, and organic approaches, evoking freedom and creativity.

Fox Rothschild Offices by Francis Cauffman, Miami – Florida

The design team right-sized and re-imagined the law firm’s previous workspaces, responding to firm-wide directives calling for a collaborative and flexible work environment. The designers also increased glazing to full height within public areas, maximizing the open light concept and bringing scenic views of the Bay into the core. For visual impact, they intensified the use of texture on the interior’s horizontal and vertical fields and amplified the color scheme while respecting the nature of the firm’s work and client base.

Movistar eSports Centre by Stone Designs, Madrid – Spain

The building is an important cultural centre and architectural symbol in the city, and Stone Designs wanted to respect it. Rather than altering the Casa del Lector, the architects constructed a series of structures intended to co-exist in harmony with the building.
